Thinkerbell wins media and creative accounts for tourism group Journey Beyond

Experiential tourism group, Journey Beyond, has appointed Thinkerbell to its media and creative accounts, following a pitch process.

OMD Adelaide was appointed to the account in November last year, while Carat previously had the separate Great Southern Rail media account. Creative outlet KWP was working with Journey Beyond’s train brands.

South Australian-based Journey Beyond owns tourism brands The Ghan, Indian Pacific, The Great Southern and Cruise Whitsundays. Last year it launched its eponymous print magazine ‘Journey Beyond’, which is created in-house.

Carly Hocking, general manager of marketing at Journey Beyond said in a statement: “We are excited to partner with Thinkerbell. Their integrated approach is going to help drive us forward during an important growth phase for the Journey Beyond business.”

Adam Ferrier, chief thinker at Thinkerbell said: “We couldn’t be prouder to work with Journey Beyond and their iconic assets. We are looking forward to bringing measured magic to their business. The appointment is further proof that the market wants more transparent and integrated solutions.”

Last month, Thinkerbell won the PR account for IAG, the parent company for insurance brands NRMA and CGU.
