Third test of the Ashes begins as it wins Thursday FTA entertainment
The Ashes on Nine had the upper hand over the Thursday night footy on Seven in sports, as Nine secured an overall share in free-to-air TV.
Day one of the Ashes’ third Test brought in 711,000 metro viewers for Nine during session one, 475,000 at lunch and 388,000 during session two. Session one also topped all three key advertising demos.
