This Is Flow adds media account for Coors Australia

Independent full-service media agency This Is Flow has announced multiple new account wins, starting with the Australian account of global beer brand Coors.

Then, starting in the second half of 2021, This Is Flow will also be working on the media planning and buying for Miller Chill and Miller Genuine Draft.

Starting in May, the Sydney agency will drive planning and buying for Coors Media, as well as for its ‘the world’s most refreshing’ media campaign throughout the year with a focus around sporting occasions.

The campaign is launching in time for the NBA playoffs and finals, This Is Flow will work with the brand to deliver a channel strategy, to drive growth via targeting Australia’s 3.86 million basketball fans.

Coors senior brand manager, Matt McKay, said of this years ‘Refresh for Game Time’ campaign: “Coors, an easy drinking lager, is the peak of refreshment.

“We are excited for Australians to pick up a Coors for their next sporting occasion, whether that be at the bar, at their house or at the game. We are also excited to partner with This is Flow who have delivered an innovative plan to highlight the way that sport brings people together.”

The account win for This Is Flow follows the addition of 1800-GOT-JUNK’s media account earlier this year, off the back of a string of account wins in the back end of 2020.

This Is Flow CEO, Jimmy Hyett, said the Coors brand aligns with the energy and skillset of his team.

“There’s a real energy behind a powerhouse global brand like Coors, the passion and drive from the business and the team that inspires our best work.

“The Coors brand aligns with the energy and skill set of our team, who’ve done a great job building a strategic response that taps into the audience behaviour and the channels they thrive in.”

DDB Sydney and DDB Chicago worked on a Super Bowl ad for Coors earlier this year, the agency’s first work around the event.
