This is Flow lands media account for A2 Milk

This is Flow has secured the media account for The A2 Milk Company, tasked with managing its planning and buying domestically.

The agency said it won the account through its “Science, Art and Value” approach, and its pitch to improve A2 Milk’s data capabilities and strategic thinking around media. It also claimed the billings are in excess of $10 million.

“This appointment is exciting for The A2 Milk Company. During the process, This Is Flow demonstrated that they have the right strategic approach, people, and tools to support us in evolving our media strategy and delivering against our objectives,” A2 Milk chief marketing officer Edith Bailey said.

The win follows a number of other recently acquired clients such as Air Asia, ASX-listed tourism company Experience Co and indoor rock climbing company Rockface. This is Flow has also recently added to its leadership team, with director of commercial operations Jeff Ewing and chief strategy officer Catherine Rushton joining its team.

“It’s a special moment for us to work with an iconic brand like A2 Milk. This is a company that innovated into a competitive and commodity industry, with a product that has literally inspired change,” This is Flow founder and chief executive Jimmy Hyett said. “We are thrilled to join them on their journey and continue their story.”

Founded in 2000 in New Zealand, A2 Milk produces milk from selected cows that naturally produce milk without the A1 beta-casein protein type, which has been found to cause digestion issues for some people. Its range includes fresh milk, long-life UHT milk, infant milk formula, milk powders and more, with most of its business done across ANZ, Asia and North America.
