Those That Do announces multiple hires and promotions
Independent creative agency Those That Do expands its team across creative, production, activation, business development and account management divisions.
The announcement:
Independent full-service creative agency, Those That Do, today announced a raft of new hires and internal promotions across its creative, production and activation, business development and account management divisions, as the agency continues to enjoy rapid global growth.
The appointments follow the announcement last month of a new identity for the agency as Those That Do, reflecting its evolution from a nimble collective of thinkers into a multi-market creative company driving tangible brand action.
Art director, Chloe Herbert-Smith, and designer, Molly Jermyn, join Those That Do’s creative team. Herbert-Smith comes to Those That Do from Leo Burnett Melbourne, where she was a full-time art director, and US + US where she was a creative associate. Jermyn is a skilled graphic designer with extensive experience in print and digital design, including stints at Team Event, Design Centre Chelsea Harbour and Christie & Co.
Those That Do has also launched a new production division within the agency to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to delivering an end-to-end service to clients. Jessica Parrish joins the new service as an activation manager, bolstering the agency’s merchandising offering within the experiential and activation team, while Marcus Longinotti and Geraldine Correa join the team as senior producers.
Parrish joins the agency from a background in hospitality, festivals and events. Longinotti and Correa are highly skilled producers, having worked in senior producer roles for a range of food, hospitality, lifestyle, product, property and retail clients.
Marketing specialist Mark Hutton has also been appointed to the newly created Business Development role, working on building the profile of the agency, along with improving its internal systems and tools.
Hutton has 20 years’ experience in marketing communications, partnerships and ecommerce. He comes to Those That Do from VMLY&R Commerce, where he was a senior account director, leading creative commerce initiatives for clients including Clipsal, GSK Consumer Healthcare, and Lion Nathan. He has also worked at The Zoo Republic, and as a freelance marketer in the UK and Australia, working on the London 2012 Olympic sponsorship activations and events for ASDA UK and Taubmans Paint.
Those That Do has also announced several promotions within its team, including current client service lead, Yvette Harapa, who steps into a client partner role, Emma Barnett, who has been promoted to experience director and also joins the Senior Leadership Team, Georgia Heeks, who moves into an account manager role, and Katie Purnell who is now a junior producer.
Those That Do founder and CEO, Ben Walker, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for Those That Do. The sheer number of new hires and internal promotions reflect the significant momentum within the business as we continue to enjoy significant growth in both Australia and overseas.
“It’s a period of transformation for Those That Do, as we live out our new business proposition of being the agency that ‘does’ for its clients. A critical part of that mission is investing in our talent. Our new recruits are a testament to that, bringing decades of agency experience to the business and a track record for innovation, creativity and delivery, while our internal promotions demonstrate our commitment to growing our team from within and recognising the depth of talent at Those That Do.”
All appointments are effective immediately.
