Three Drunk Monkeys and Foxtel split

Ad agency Three Drunk Monkeys has parted ways with long term client Foxtel.

The announcement:

SYDNEY: 22 November 2010: After 5 years of working together, Three Drunk Monkeys and FOXTEL have mutually agreed not to renew their partnership as they both entered new phases of their businesses.

“After years of growing together, FOXTEL and Three Drunk Monkeys have jointly decided to part ways,” said Mark Green, Principal of Three Drunk Monkeys.

“We have worked with FOXTEL for seven years across two agencies and we have enjoyed an incredibly close and successful relationship,” he said.

“Over that time FOXTEL has grown into a profitable company with over 1.63 million million subscribers. Working with the Monkeys, FOXTEL had its biggest year on record and continued its strong growth through the Global Financial Crisis – growth which continues.

“And in return, with FOXTEL’s support, Three Drunk Monkeys has grown into one of Australia’s most successful agencies delivering award winning campaigns for the likes of AUSTAR, FOX Sports, Telstra, Parmalat, Ubank (National Australia Bank’s online brand), and DMG Radio.

“The Monkeys will continue its long association with Pay TV through AUSTAR and FOX Sports and will always remain close to our FOXTEL friends.

“We wish FOXTEL every success as we enter this new era for both our businesses,” Mr Green said.
