Thursday TV viewers turn off
A slow night in the TV ratings saw audiences down across the board on Thursday.
Current affairs shows were the best of a bad bunch with Seven’s Today Tonight and Seven News leading the way, both delivering 1.3m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
Nine’s Getaway recovered on previous weeks to 1.1m while Ten’s Rush struggled with 836,000.
For Seven, The Matty Johns Show was ninth in Sydney and 16th in Brisbane.
The network had a disappointing breakfast with Sunrise (353,000) beaten by Nine Today (369,000). Today won Sydney and Melbourne while Sunrise won the smaller markets of Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
