Ticker News partners with Reuters to expand content offering

Ticker News has agreed a deal with Reuters, giving the news platform access to the global newswire service’s content.

Ticker said that this editorial partnership will allow it to expand its global presence, bringing industry leading expertise in the breaking news and journalism industry.

Th deal comes shortly after Ticker appointed its first UK and Europe correspondent, Simon Anderson, last month. Anderson is based in London.

Ahron Young, CEO and founder of Ticker said that he has always been in awe of Reuters, since reading Paul Reuter’s biography when he was 12.

“Their history, starting as a news wire in 1851 for international news organisations. What they did paved the way for Ticker all these years later.”

Ticker said that in addition to a US, UK and Asian reporter, the new partnership “cements Ticker’s proposition as an international streaming news network”. Since its launch in 2019, Ticker has focused its programming on global politics, crypto, climate and business news.

Ticker COO, Jed Bertalli, said: “This new partnership with Reuters builds on the current premium content, top end journalism and storytelling that our audience has come to expect from Ticker. It’s another natural expansion of the Ticker brand.”

The partnership begins this week, with Reuters content available across all Ticker News platforms. This includes all Reuters video and online content.
