Tim “Rosso” Ross has launched a weekly competition for small businesses to submit reasons why they should win a free 30 second commercial to air each Friday on his Mix radio drive program, airing in Sydney and Melbourne.
Ross writes and performs the ad based on what the entrants post on his program’s Facebook page – and the business is chosen at random.
So far this week a cleaning firm and pole dancing school have been among the pitches. Others have included finance brokers, hand-carved art dealers and a cheerleading school.
But Dr Mumbo can’t help but ponder how random the selection process really is.
