Domain’s Toby Johnstone promoted to content and data director
Domain’s editorial director, Toby Johnstone, has been promoted to content and data director.
Johnstone first joined Domain as deputy editor in 2013, before being appointed editorial director of news, digital and social, in January 2015.
According to his LinkedIn, Johnstone will now lead the editors and journalists. He has also launched a research team of economists and property analysts, who will use data to make sense of the Australian property market.
A Domain spokesperson told Mumbrella Johnstone would report direct to chief marketing and content officer, Melina Cruickshank.
“Toby will be heading a new division called Domain Research House, a new dedicated team within the Content and Audience division. It will deliver a new program of research, driving insights and reports into property and economic trends,” the spokesperson said.
