Today’s ChangeOneThing videos: Change the remuneration model; make research part of the media plan
Next month’s Mumbrella360 conference will see a debate on how to make a single major change to how the media industry does business.
ChangeOneThing – curated by media agency PHD – will select a single issue and build consensus during the session how it will be tackled.
In the run up to the event, anybody who wants to achieve change is asked to upload a short video arguing for their issue to be the one selected.
These can then be voted up or down via the specially developed ChangeOneThing YouTube channel.
Today’s videos:
Stuart Gurney, strategy manager at PHD, argues for a change to the remuneration model with agencies movign away from a commission based structure, and for media owners to be paid by the engagements they deliver rather than CPM:
Justin Lewis, Managing Director of Big Picture, argues for research to become a part of every media plan:
Mumbrella360 takes place on June 6 and 7. Tickets can be booked here.
Classic ending to Al Crawfords video on the youtube channel where he gives it to his CEO Andy Pontin. Will Al be there next week?
