Tonic Communications promotes Georgia Coleman to managing director

Tonic Communications has promoted its general manager Georgia Coleman to managing director.

Tonic was launched in February 2024 by international marketing services group Attivo, parent company of agencies 303 MullenLowe, Mediahub, Farrimond, DNY, Hill Holliday, and The Next Practice. The agency specialises in earned PR, influencer marketing, social media, and events.

In her new role, effective immediately, Coleman will oversee Tonic’s recently established offices in Australia and New Zealand, as well as working in collaboration with the other Attivo agencies. She will also oversee the expansion of the Tonic team.

Attivo’s local CEO Sue Squillace said in an announcement Coleman “has done an amazing job growing Tonic’s business in both markets building capabilities, scope and footprint.”

“She led a strong expansion of services into Australia, using her previous experience across both markets, while working alongside Attivo’s brand and media agencies on recent projects for RSPCA, Bosch, Arla Foods and Women’s Asian Cup 2026.”

Coleman said of Tonic: “From day one, our focus has been on delivering work that earns attention and creates real, lasting impact.

“Stepping into the MD role is about continuing that momentum – growing our people, strengthening our trans-Tasman footprint, and ensuring Tonic stays as the agency that clients trust for strategic thinking, innovative ideas and genuine heart.”
