Tourism Australia partners with Seven in new TV show

Tourism Australia is extending its No Leave No Life marketing campaign, signing up to be a commercial partner on a new TV show of the same name on the  Seven Network.

The lifestyle and travel programme, produced by Endemol Southern Star, will be hosted by Ernie Dingo and premier on Saturday December 5, 6:30pm.No Leave pic

Tourism Australia executive GM of marketing Nick Baker told Mumbrella that it would be one of a number of commercial partners on the show. However, it is not clear at this stage which other brands will be involved.

The programme will feature Dingo looking for over-worked Australians in need of a holiday. With the blessings of their bosses, Dingo will take them out of their workplaces for a much-needed vacation within Australia. Well-known comedians will then take over their jobs while they are away for the week.

The tourism organisation first launched the No Leave No Life campaign, created by DDB, earlier this year. It is aimed at encouraging Australians to use their annual leave entitlements and take a domestic holiday.

The campaign launched in conjunction with the Come Walkabout international ads created to coincide with the movie Australia last year.
