Tourism Tasmania acting CMO Lindene Cleary formally appointed

Tourism Tasmania has appointed Lindene Cleary, the destination marketing organisation’s acting CMO, to take on the role in a permanent capacity.

Cleary will fill the vacancy created by Emma Terry, who joined the South Australian Tourism Commission in January as its CEO.

During her time with Tourism Tasmania, Cleary oversaw the delivery of Come Down For Air brand platform and Off Season program, as well as leading brand communications and agency partnerships.

Tourism Tasmania won Travel Marketing Team of the Year at Mumbrella Travel Awards in 2022 under Cleary’s leadership.

Prior to Tourism Tasmania, Cleary worked with the Coca-Cola Company in Singapore, Sydney and Seoul, in senior brand management and marketing communications roles.
