Toyota, McDonald’s, Bunnings, Harvey Norman and Adidas sign on as sponsors for Foxtel’s Women’s cricket coverage

A number of brands have signed on to support the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 coverage, including Toyota, McDonald’s, Bunnings, Harvey Norman and Adidas.

Foxtel Media today announced a stellar line up of brands have signed up as partners for FOX CRICKET’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 coverage, including the special pop-up channel FOXW (Channel 507) which will culminate with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Final on March at the MCG on International Women’s Day, Sunday, March 8.

Toyota, McDonald’s, Bunnings, Harvey Norman, & Adidas will be the anchor brands, with the advertisers appearing across the live broadcast, digital & Kayo, reaching passionate sports fans however they chose to watch the competition.

The partner-line up follows the recent announcement of Foxtel’s FOXW pop up channel from March 2, along with a host of bespoke sports related content including:

· The World Premiere of the six-part series CALL MY NAME on Monday, March 2 at 8.00pm.

CALL MY NAME features special interviews of some of Australia’s biggest and best current female athletes including cricketer Ellyse Perry, Matilda Sam Kerr, Basketballer Liz Cambage, AFLW star and boxer Tayla Harris, major golf champion Hannah Green and professional rugby league player Tiana Penitani.

· Simulcast LIVE broadcasts of the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 on Thursday, March 5 and also the Sunday, March 8 Final on International Women’s Day at the MCG which looks to break the record of 90,185 people attending a single women’s sports event.

· Additional LIVE coverage of various women’s sports events including game 2 of the WNBL Grand Final Series, six games of round 5 of AFLW and game 1 of the Hockeyroos in their series against Argentina.

· A special “women’s week” edition of THE BACK PAGE, premiering at 6.00pm on Tuesday, March 3;

· SPORTSWOMAN, a series which showcases inspiring stories, action and development of female athletes from around the world

· BEYOND THE BOUNDARY, a two-part documentary special which takes viewers inside the Australian Women’s Cricket team’s successful 2019 Ashes campaign in the UK in 2019; and

· AMAZING WINS, which re-lives some of the most amazing moments in women’s sport, from Ash Barty’s 2019 Roland Garros victory, NRLW State of Origin, World Surf League wins by Steph Gilmore and Tyler Wright, and the AFLW Grand Final.
