Toyota uses Facebook game to promote new sports car
Toyota has launched a Facebook game to promote its entry into the sports car market.
In the game, players get a virtual demonstration of the car’s four-cylinder engine and new technologies – but they won’t be able to see the car until its unveiling on November 30 at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The game was developed in Japan, but is being activated locally. This marks the Japanese carmaker’s second major play in social media this year since the ‘Like my ride’ app launch.
Toyota’s new sports car, which features a front-engine and rear-wheel-drive, is due to go on sale in Australia next year.
Wow everything about that is bad bad bad.

Gave it a minute and that was it – didn’t even make it to the app, took forever to load. Sorry Toyota.

Load time killed the app hahahah
great concept too bad no one will ever wait for the app to load. It takes even longer than Gran Turismo 5 to load on the Playstation 3 …
