Triple M’s Jane Kennedy hospitalised with head and back injuries after fall

Radio presenter Jane Kennedy has been hospitalised in a serious accident, Triple M has revealed.

Kennedy – co-host of the radio station’s national drivetime show with Mick Molloy – slipped and fell onto a hard tile floor, striking her head and fracturing her lower back.

She had no memory of the aftermath of the accident until she woke up in Melbourne’s The Alfred Hospital.

She revealed the incident during a call to her own show, which she has not hosted since Monday. Kennedy said she was going outside to strap a wildlife camera to a tree when she slipped, in her Ugg Boots, and fell.

She is now at home resting, feeling ok but  ‘sore’. Kennedy expects to return to the airwaves from her home studio on Monday.
