TV Week revamps with new design

ACP’s television magazine TV Week has undergone a redesign.
Announcement:

27 June, 2011

TV WEEK hits newsstands today with a more dynamic design and a bigger and better TV guide that cements its reputation as Australia’s most respected and loved TV magazine.

Over the past six weeks, TV WEEK has been gradually changing in response to reader feedback, with a greater investment in photo shoots and new editorial initiatives.

This week, the magazine has undergone a complete transformation with a more sophisticated design and new sections – including News & Views, The Special Report, It’s Only My Opinion, TV Life and a bigger and better TV guide – and regular columnists such as David Stratton, Ken Sutcliffe, Andrew Mercado, Tracey Spicer, Erin McWhirter, Michael Pickering, Helen Vnuk and more.

With the rising take-up of digital television, and so many more channels and shows to choose from, Aussie icon TV WEEK has never been so relevant.

After months of reader research, the relaunch gives Australian families a one-stop shop for their TV information, with the biggest and most comprehensive television guide, industry news, plot sneak peeks, star interviews and trusted reviewers.

Peter Holder, Publisher, ACP Weeklies, said: “With so many new ways for people to enjoy television content, and so much more choice, TV WEEK is evolving to meet the changing needs and demands of TV fans across all age groups, who want better information and insight into their favourite shows.”

TV WEEK Editor Emma Nolan said: “Our readers told us what they wanted and we’ve delivered a magazine that I believe is now on par, or better, than the best TV magazines around the globe.

“So take another look at TV WEEK. We’re not just about soaps! Think Downton Abbey, Australia’s Got Talent, MasterChef Australia, The Block – if it is hot on TV, it’s in TV WEEK!”

The new-look TV WEEK is out on Monday, June 27, with eight extra pages and a 10-page puzzle special.
