TV Wrap: The Traitors finale suppressed by The Block, The Voice in Sunday ratings

Despite Ten’s The Traitors having a world-first ending for the franchise, where all three finalists chose to ‘steal’ instead of ‘share’ the prize fund, last night’s finale fizzled with viewers.

The finale aired to an average of 265,000 metro viewers (369,000 viewers if including regional, according to Ten) and 322,000 during the endgame peak (454,000 including regional).

The Traitors season two’s Camille, Rodger Corser, Blake and Sam

Nine’s The Block and Seven’s The Voice turned out to be too strong for The Traitors, as the former brought in 812,000 metro viewers and the latter attracted 725,000. The Block also topped all three key advertising demos.

Nine’s NRL finals series aired to 391,000 metro viewers on Sunday afternoon.

In the week ended 9 September, Seven Network claimed a leading 33.9% overall share thanks to the AFL, followed by Nine with 28.4%, and ABC with 15%.
