Twentieth Century Fox appoints Bronwyn Heys to head marketing

Ex-McDonald’s, George Weston Foods and Yum Restaurants marketer Bronwyn Heys has been appointed marketing director of the Australian and New Zealand operations of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Joining from McDonald’s, where she was national marketing projects manager, Heys starts in her new role on 30 January.

Twentieth Century Fox uses mostly globally aligned agencies such as Zenith Optimedia for media, and there are no plans for a review of local marketing suppliers, a spokesperson told Mumbrella.

Prior to Maccas, Heys held the roles of market strategy director and marketing and innovation director at George Weston Foods. Before this, she worked in Canada in the US where was chief marketing officer and global marketing director of Yum Restaurants International.

Flavio Paoli, Twentieth Century Fox Australia and New Zealand MD, said: “Bronwyn joins Fox with more than 20 years international experience in driving marketing strategy and initiatives for global iconic brands within the consumer packaged goods and retail industries.”

“Her breadth of experience, in conjunction with her reputation for identifying key consumer insights as the genesis for new product development and marketing communication strategies will enable Fox to consolidate our current successes and position us well for future growth.”
