Twenty3 picks up promitional duties for upcoming UFC bout in Melbourne

Twenty3 has been appointed as the agency for branding, fan engagement and activation initiatives for the forthcoming UFC®193: ROUSEY vs. HOLM event at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on the 15th November 2015.

Following a competitive pitch, Twenty3 Sport + Entertainment has been appointed by UFC®, the leading mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation, to manage the branding, fan engagement and activation initiatives for the forthcoming UFC®193: ROUSEY vs. HOLM event at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on the 15th November 2015.

UFC 193’s main event will showcase UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey defending her title for the seventh consecutive time against challenger Holly Holm. In the co-main event, champion Joanna Jedrzejcyk will meet Valerie Letourneau in the UFC women’s strawweight title bout.

“Twenty3’s knowledge and experience working across both sport and entertainment landscapes in Australia made them a natural choice,” UFC Vice President of Fan Experience Jessica Roosli said. “Among other initiatives, we will be working closely with Twenty3 to ensure we create a dynamic experience for fight fans in Melbourne around the event. This includes a technology-oriented Fan Village, offering visitors a fully-immersive UFC experience, opportunities to meet global UFCstars, skills tests, sponsor activations and more.”

The UFC Fan Village is open to the public and will operate on the weekend of the event beginning on Saturday 14th November on the concourse at Etihad Stadium.

On the entertainment front, Twenty3 is also managing the marketing for Dainty Group tours such as Hugh Jackman’s Broadway to Oz and An Evening with Oprah.
