Tyler Greer joins Adotube as first Australian employee
Former Starcom MediaVest senior strategist Tyler Greer has joined streaming video advertising solution Adotube as Sales Director as the company’s first Australian employee, responsible for launching into Australia and New Zealand

Melbourne, Australia (January 17, 2012) AdoTube, the Exponential Interactive-owned in-stream video advertising solution, has appointed a Sales Director to grow the company in Australia and New Zealand.
Tyler Greer, who joins the company from Starcom MediaVest, has been appointed as AdoTube’s first Australian employee responsible for launching the premium in-stream video offering in the region and recruiting a local sales team.
Greer will report to Exponential APAC Managing Director John McKoy and will be based in Melbourne.
Greer was previously a senior strategist at Starcom MediaVest working on clients such as Holden and Sportsbet. Prior to Starcom, Greer was a Media and Digital Strategist at Mindshare Melbourne and was Digital Director of Roadshow Films overseeing digital media and strategy for Australia and New Zealand.
AdoTube is the leading global in-stream advertising technology company and reaches 80% of all video viewers via its integration into virtually all Flash video players. This integration provides unique interactive pre-roll options as well as guaranteeing to advertisers that all their campaigns will be seen ‘in-stream’.
AdoTube spearheaded the Polite Pre-Roll, an innovative In-Stream video ad unit, which allows users to skip ads with advertisers only paying for completed views. Publishers also benefit from the Polite Pre-Roll format, as users are less likely to leave their site due to being forced to watch in-stream ads.

The above states “reaches 80% of all video viewers…” – if you could provide further insight as to where this number comes from, considering Comscore (Nov11) reports AdoTube Network – Potential Reach is 2,184K out of 2,493K for Australia (17%), and 55,281K out of 188,024K (29%) for the United States (Comscore Dec11). Furthermore, it is interesting to find the cross visitation highest indexing property is another new video network player in the Australian market being Vena.com.au…
