Uber and Hello Social launch content series for Uber One

Uber and Hello Social have teamed up for the latest installation of the Uber One membership campaign, launching a four-part content series.

The series – which stars former Neighbours alum Ian Smith – will roll out across Uber Eats Instagram account, with the first two episodes already having gone live.

Following on from Smith’s appearance as a ‘Neighbour looking for work’ in Uber One’s campaign via Special last month, the new social series showcases his next chapter as an intern, as he navigates his way through a modern start-up company, thanks to his Uber One membership.

Hello Social was appointed as the exclusive social-media account for Uber in January 2022.

The series will showcase the savings and perks offered by the membership program, as Smith is tasked with a multitude of errand to run for his team – from complicated coffee orders to lavish lunch orders.

Sam Kelly, managing director at Hello Social said: “Creatively we worked hard to strike a balance between emotion in the form of comedy and function in terms of landing the membership proposition. Leaning into the loveable character traits of Ian Smith certainly helped us wrap the full package.”
