UFC mag launch sees strong pre-sales for ACP

ACP’s forthcoming launch of UFC Magazine Australia – the official title for the Ultimate Fighting Championship – has seen what the company says is a “virtually unheard of” level of pre-launch subscriptions.

Although the publisher would not disclose numbers for the monthly title, Mumbrella understands that it has already sold around 1000 subs.  While this is only a fraction of the 50,000 circulation being promised to the advertising market, it is highly unusual for readers to subscribe to a magazine they have not yet seen.

The magazine goes on sale from February 21 to preceed a UFC bout at Sydney’s Acer Arena the following week.

Michael Koslowski, ACP’s publisher of men’s lifestyle titles, said: “We are very excited about the rapid take-up of this phenomenal new magazine brand which is set to grow in tandem with one of the world’s biggest sports.”
