UM’s CDO and global brand safety officer, Joshua Lowcock, becomes director of ASX listed Smiles Inclusive

UM’s global chief digital officer and global brand safety officer, Joshua Lowcock has been appointed a non-executive director of ASX listed Smiles Inclusive.

Australian born Lowcock was previously head of commercial platforms at News Limited and manager of convergent technologies at Nine before joining UM in March 2015.

Recently-listed Smiles Inclusive Limited (ASX Code: SIL) has announced the appointment of new non-executive director, digital innovation expert Mr Joshua Lowcock.

Mr Lowcock is based in New York and serves as Universal McCann’s (UM) Chief Digital Officer and Global Brand Safety Officer, with responsibility for helping UM’s clients and their brands innovate, while protecting their digital security.

He has a strong background in the digital space, as well as marketing, technology, business transformation and innovation.

Chairman of Smiles Inclusive, Mr David Herlihy, said “Joshua is an important addition to Smiles Inclusive’s board as we continue to expand our network of dental practices across Australia, with both marketing of our services and protection of our patient data high priorities.

Mr Lowcock said “I am excited to be joining such a dynamic team, with my particular focus being in the provision of online services for the group and patients in a safe and secure way”.

Smiles Inclusive listed its shares on the Australian Securities Exchange in late April, 2018, raising $35 million with the aim of acquiring new practices across Australia. The key to the company’s expansion is partnering with dentists.
