Underbelly falters as My Kitchen Rules strengthens

Monday night’s Underbelly telemovie was the worst performing since Nine launched the franchise, with the show ninth for the night.

Underbelly Files: The Man Who Got Away averaged 1.015m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

Meanwhile, Seven’s My Kitchen Rules continued to perform strongly, delivering an average audience of 1.457m.

Elsewhere in Nine’s schedule, William Shatner’s Shit My Dad Says improved slightly on last week – up from 803,000 to 873,000.

Ten had a poor night, with ABC1 delivering a bigger top rating. ABC News rated 987,000 while Ten’s best show was Glee, 921,000.

6PM With George Negus showed signs of life for Ten with 418,000 – up nearly 40,000 on the same day last week.

On the digital channels, Eleven’s Neighbours was the best performer with 387,000.
