Michael Burton appointed Cutting Edge CEO
Michael Burton has been appointed as Cutting Edge’s new CEO.
Burton succeeds Ray Smith, who stepped down as CEO last November to concentrate on his candidacy as Labor mayoral candidate for Brisbane.
Burton has previously served as the company’s CTO, and held the joint positions of managing director and head of outside broadcast and reality TV (working on projects such as Big Brother, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, Fox Sports Cricket and Ten’s AFL broadcasts.
Burton is expected to enhance Cutting Edge’s services acroos post-production, VFX, broadcast and digital media.
