Underbelly Razor clear winner for Sunday with 1.76m

Nine’s Underbelly: Razor was the ratings winner of Sunday night going up against a fairly uncompetitive 8:30 line up.

Last night’s episode was the third of the series and drew an audience of 1.76 million, according to preliminary five-city metro ratings from OzTam.

It was number one in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth but came third behind Nine News and Seven News in Brisbane.

Last week’s consecutive first and second episodes of Underbelly received 2.51 million and 2.089 million, inheriting viewers from The Block finale which peaked at 3.428 million.

It’s closest competitors in the 8:30 slot last night were Seven’s Bones, the 8th most-watched show with 1.071 million and Ten’s 27 Dresses film, the 19th most-watched with 518,000.

Nine’s new Merlin-esque series Camelot failed to capitalise on Underbelly’s healthy audience with episode one at 9:40 reaching just 640,000 and episode two 294,000.

Nine beat Seven to win the night with 26% share over 23.4%.
