You’ve got to admire the entrepreneurism of Sydney’s tourism industry. Nine’s Underbelly 3: The Golden Mile may not even be on air yet, but the first walking tour is already available.
Punters on the Golden Mile Walking Tour of Sydney website are invited to:
“Venture down Sydney’s Golden Mile – the strip of Kings Cross being made famous again in TV’s Underbelly – with your Kings Cross-savvy guide on the NEW Golden Mile Walking Tour.
“Do you know: How did John Ibrahim got the title of King of the Cross? Or his other nickname? Which Kings Cross character used to wear a lead-lined glove? The trick to Locchi’s window? If the Pink Pussycat is still around?”
The first tour is next Monday, starting, sensibly enough, under the Coca-Cola sign.
