Uni Super appoints Anand Thomas as chief strategy and marketing officer
The superannuation fund for higher education and research workers, Uni Super, has hired Anand Thomas as chief strategy and marketing officer.
Anand has a history in the finance and banking sector, joining from MLC Life Insurance, where he worked across the demerger from NAB, as well as previous roles at Citicorp, ANZ, NAB and OCBC Bank.
He will now work closely with CEO Kevin O’Sullivan to develop and drive the fund’s strategy, and will lead the marketing, strategy, product and digital functions.
The fund undertook a review of its organisational structure in April, which it said will help it ensure it remains in the best position possible to respond to the changing competitive landscape and regulatory environment.
O’Sullivan said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Anand to Uni Super. He brings with him a wealth of commercial experience and is clearly a strategic, long-term thinker who will add enormous value and depth to the leadership team.”
Thomas began the role today.
