Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment appoints retail agency Crossmark

Retail marketing agency Crossmark has been appointed by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia to manage national retail merchandising of its home entertainment products.

The announcement:

One of Australasia’s largest retail marketing agencies, CROSSMARK today announced its appointment by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia (US) to manage the national retail merchandising of its home entertainment products.

CROSSMARK will continue to work on the business following a competitive pitch, where it will manage the retail merchandising for all film and TV content distributed by US on DVD and Blu-ray across Australia.

CROSSMARK Managing Director Australia, Polly Yule said: “We are delighted to be appointed by Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia to employ our retail merchandising expertise to deliver strategic growth solutions, through speed to market retail activations that have been developed in-house.”

“Using state-of-the-art iPad technology for real-time reporting in-store, our experienced field teams will be deployed to achieve effective stock management in hundreds of mass and grocery retailers across Australia.”

The appointment by US further strengthens CROSSMARK’s established portfolio of clients in the home entertainment, gaming, publishing, telecommunications and consumer electronics channels.

The appointment is effective immediately.
