UnLtd names 16 industry figures in Ambassadors for Good initiative

The industry’s social purpose organisation UnLtd has announced the members of its first Ambassadors for Good initiative, with 16 figures from across the industry announced to take part in the program.

The year-long program will begin in February, 2021, and includes a charity immersion, mentoring, events and other special projects.

After 80 people across the industry initially applied to part of the first intake of Ambassadors, the candidates were shortlisted to 26, and recently narrowed down to 16.

UnLtd CEO Chris Freel said the organisation “was overwhelmed” by the interest and calibre of candidates from all corners of the industry.

“It’s inspiring to know that there are so many amazing people across our industry who want to make a difference. Choosing only 16 from over 80 incredible, passionate and talented individuals was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do.”

The 2021 UnLtd Ambassadors for Good are:
Rosy Blyther, OMD
Tania David, Finecast
Abigail Dawson, Special Group
Paul Everson, Paper + Spark
Emmalee Fagerstrom, Verizon Media
Jade Harley, Kaimera
Paul Kent, Amazon
Madeline Leigh, Mindshare
Gai Le Roy, IAB Australia
Jonathan Lowther, Starcom
Kimmie Neidhardt, Burd
James Rose, MiQ
Harrison Smith, Initiative
Danielle Taylor, The Trade Desk
Matthew Vogts, Mediacom
Felicity Wainwright, JCDecaux

The Ambassadors will use their skills and influence to help children and young people at risk.

UnLtd CMO Nina Nyman said the Ambassadors for Good program has already found “a great mix of people across all levels, backgrounds, skills and industries all of whom are incredibly passionate, smart and well-connected”.

“We’re so excited to welcome our Ambassadors to the UnLtd family… We can’t wait to see the impact they will help us create next year,” she added.

Verizon Media has come on board as a sponsor of the program, and managing director ANZ Paul Sigaloff said: “We’re very proud to be furthering our support of UnLtd and sponsoring the new Ambassadors for Good program.

“Having worked closely with UnLtd for a number of years, we’ve seen first hand the incredible impact their work has on helping youth at risk. I’m excited to see how the ambassadors will further unite our industry for good and ramp up the power of UnLtd.”
