Well done UGM for pulling money out of HN’s pockets!!
Do HN actually think any gamer with half a head on their shoulders will purchase from HN? Or will said gamers do the usual and purchase their titles and so on from wherever they can get the price the lowest.
This just further illustrates the incompetence of the organisation when it comes to anything digitally oriented.
I bet we just see crappy display ads here as well – no real content to offer the user as part of the partnership, just another rubbish leaderboard.

Once Harvey Norman realizes nearly all the Urban Geek content is American, and Aussie people prefer to read local content, I suspect Harvey Norman will be regretting their decision…

Wait so Gerry Harvey complains about Australians shopping overseas then partners with a company with American content?
And he thinks that those savvy enough to be online gamers can’t figure out how to order online from competitors offering a 40 to 60% discount?
This guy is hilarious.

Good point Dave – he demands Australians support his retail outlets but puts his marketing spend into international sites.
The reason why is he can probably get the inventory cheaper overseas. Much like the Australian public with his goods.
One rule for Gerry, another for everyone else. Oops.
