UrsaClemenger awarded skin cancer awareness campaign for older Aussie men

UrsaClemenger has been commissioned by the Cancer Institute NSW and Cancer Council NSW to make older NSW men more aware of the dangers of sun exposure.

The announcement:

Following a three-way pitch, the Cancer Institute NSW and Cancer Council NSW have commissioned UrsaClemenger to make older New South Welshmen more aware of the dangers of sun exposure.

Australian men who are 50 plus, are three times more likely to die from melanoma than their female contemporaries. However, despite this very alarming fact, most remain either ignorant or complacent about the dangers they face outdoors.

“We’re very privileged to have been chosen to work with both Cancer Council NSW and the Cancer Institute NSW on such a challenging project” said UrsaClemenger MD Mardi Le Page.

“We know that men over 50 are notoriously complacent when it comes to looking after their health. We’ll be aiming to change the way they look after their skin.”

The agency will be working closely with both organisations to develop a campaign for the upcoming Australian summer.
