The premiere of US comedy God Friended Me captured 528,000 metro viewers, contributing to a Monday night win for Seven.

Starring Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane and Suraj Sharma, the series is centred around an atheist called Miles, whose life is turned on its head when he is friended by God on Facebook.
