VCCP and SomeOne win MyAdbox account after competitive pitch

Melbourne-based martech startup MyAdbox has appointed VCCP and SomeOne to reposition its brand as it looks to expand its global footprint.

The combined team of VCCP and SomeOne, who first partnered in 2017, was appointed to the MyAdbox account after a competitive pitch of branding agencies.

The MyAdbox platform is a marketing and technology platform aiming to change the way campaign material rolls out, and recent expansion has seen MyAdbox grow clients on five continents with operational footholds in Europe and Canada.

MyAdbox CMO Rene Slota said VCCP and SomeOne had a “blend of strategic proficiency, branding and communications expertise” that VCCP and SomeOne brought to the pitch “the decisive factor in the appointment”.

MyAdbox CEO Andrew Baker said the move comes as the martech startup looks to move into more industries, having established itself in the automotive sector already.

“The product has dominated the auto sector here in Australia and overseas but it’s time for our next phase of growth into other industries.

“We recognise that having a partner that thoroughly grasps how our product reimagines content production, campaign delivery and brand compliance is critical to our growth trajectory.”

VCCP and SomeOne’s list of clients also includes Compare The Market, Torrens Universities Australia, Cadbury and The Australian Museum.

Suzie Roberts, who was named VCCP managing director recently, said the agency is excited to work with an ambitious client like MyAdbox.

“They are ambitious clients, who look to their agency as a true partner and who have a product that will challenge future creative industry processes,” she said.

Baker added: “VCCP & Someone understand that brand is more than a logo and some colours.

“It’s about identifying customer pain points and human truths to define a brand position and proposition.

“We’re at a critical point in our business evolution. It’s the perfect time to take stock and ensure that our SAAS model lines up perfectly with our audience, today and tomorrow.”
