Venntifact partners with Open Learning to launch online digital and marketing courses

Marketing technology consultancy, Venntifact, has partnered with Open Learning to launch a series of online courses for marketing and digital professionals.

Marketing technology consultancy Venntifact has partnered with social learning platform Open Learning on a series of online courses to help marketing and digital professionals stay up to date with the evolving demands of modern digital roles.

Open Learning is a Sydney-based educational technology company offering massive open online courses (MOOCs), short courses and online degrees. Its goal is to help students feel empowered through active learning that recognises the value of creation, discussion and reflection.

Venntifact’s latest course, Data Management Platform (DMP) Strategy, unpacks how data can be used to develop digital audience segments, optimise paid media and create personalised experiences.

Adam Brimo, founder and CEO of Open Learning, said: “Marketing technology is a rapidly evolving industry, meaning that thorough, practical and problem-based learning is vital for people to stay ahead of the curve.

“Open Learning is designed from the ground up to provide a project and problem-based learning environment for this style of education. We’re proud to partner with the Venntifact team to bring the next generation of martech education to Australia.”

In July this year, Venntifact launched its training and enablement division in response to a dearth of talent in the industry. Steven Hann, Venntifact’s co-founder and managing director, explained the reasons behind the business’ training push.

“Data management platforms represent an area of confusion in the industry,” he said. “They have leapt in so quickly that many of our clients want to jump on board, but face a lack of skills and knowledge in the area.

“As a result, it’s challenging for brands to know what to believe. We’re strong advocates that consultancies should not hold all the cards when it comes to marketing technology and data knowledge – the more brands that understand, the merrier. We want to close that gap.”

Over the next few months, Venntifact will be releasing three new courses on the Open Learning platform designed to help marketers better understand and utilise the various elements of the martech ecosystem, including Tag Management System (TMS) Essentials, Customer Data Platform (CDP) Strategy and Marketing Automation.

Hann added: “Our courses provide flexibility for people to learn at their own speed, with practical exercises you would face in our industry and room for ongoing questions and answers with our team.

“This is built within a highly supportive peer community where collaboration is key, mimicking the way real problems are solved in the workplace. We are thrilled to be partnering with Open Learning to deliver these essential courses via a facility that encourages social learning.”
