Venus, Initiative win Swinburne Uni account

Venus Advertising has won the account for Swinburne University of Technology – in partnership with Initiative media.  

The announcement:

Venus Advertising has been awarded the Swinburne University of Technology advertising and media account in partnership with Initiative media following a 3-way competitive pitch.

“We’re really excited about the opportunity to work with such a great brand with renowned and industry-leading courses…” stated Miles Mainwaring, Managing Director of Venus.“By partnering with Initiative we have been able to put forward a truly integrated service model tailored to meet the specific challenges of a modern tertiary education provider.

Venus and Initiative have taken the reins on the business effective January 1st 2011 and will be rolling out new creative later in the year.

This win comes to Venus on the back of their recent win of the Dennis Family Homes business following a 4-way competitive pitch. A new Dennis brand campaign will be rolled out in February. Dennis media remains with Initiative, who have handled the business for the last 6 years.
