Vince Frost first Australian typography fellow

Vince Frost, chairman and creative director of  Frost Design has been made an honorary fellow of the International Society of Typography Designers.  

The announcement:

In recognition of his outstanding typographic design work and significant contribution to the typographic industry, celebrated Sydney designer, Vince Frost, has been made an Honorary Fellow of the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD). Frost is the first and only Honorary Fellow in Australia.

Founded in 1928, the ISTD is a highly respected professional body with more than 600 members worldwide. The society aims to establish and maintain typographic standards within the professional design and education communities, promoting the highest quality contemporary practice.

Entry as an Honorary Fellow of the ISTD is through nomination of the London based society’s board only.

“As a designer, typography has always been my passion”, said Vince Frost, Creative Director and Chairman of Frost* in Surry Hills. “This is a really nice surprise”.
