Violin comedy draws the crowds for ABC
Violinists turned YouTube comedy celebrities Brett Yang and Eddy Chen drew the entertainment audiences over at the ABC, with their Australian Story pulling larger metro audiences than The Chase, Dessert Masters, or My Mum Your Dad.
High ratings for 7.30 (514,000) and Australian Story (504,000), plus a decent showing for Media Watch (347,000) saw ABC pull 20.2% overall share, not quite enough to surpass Seven’s 26.7% or Nine’s 25.5%, but well ahead of Ten’s 17.8%.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Dessert Masters drew a respectable 477,000 for Ten, while Nine’s My Mum Your Dad delivered 316,000, landing below Hot Seat, The Chase, and two servings of Home and Away.
