Virgin Mobile gives away 75 bikes leading up to Christmas

Seventy-five bicycles will be given away by Virgin Mobile over the next three weeks as part of a treasure hunt-themed Christmas campaign.

Launching today, the hunt is part of Virgin’s ‘Tis the season to be Free’ brand campaign.

Virgin Mobile will deliver clues of the bikes’ whereabouts via the fairride.com.au website.

The campaign, devised by PR agency One Green Bean, is supported with radio ads on Nova and Austereo promos, café screens, Facebook ads, lift media and through partnerships with Pedestrian, Time Out and The Vine.

David Scribner, marketing director of Virgin Mobile, said: “We are really excited about this campaign and pushing boundaries in the social media field to engage our fans. We are constantly seeking ways to keep our members excited about our company and exploring new fun and innovative ways in which to raise awareness of all the great free benefits of being with Virgin Mobile.”

With a range of bikes given away on different days, participants can decide which bike they’ll compete for at fairride.com.au.
