The announcement:

Hatched Media promotes Virginia Scully to People & Development Director

On the eve of its 5th birthday independent agency Hatched Media has promoted Virginia Scully into the newly created role People & Culture Director.

Owner & founder of Hatched Jack Byrne commented “with our business growth over the last 24 months, which has seen our team doubling to 27 people in the last 18 months alone, we felt a significant investment is required to continue to evolve our product, and a role centred entirely on professional and personal development was our number one focus coming into 2018. We are, after all, a ‘people’ business in a service industry, which is a key factor often overlooked in the Agency space, and I can think of no one better qualified to lead the charge here at Hatched than Virginia”.

Scully states: “the role will incorporate a genuine focus on what makes Hatched staff ‘tick’, so we listen and support our people with initiatives that work for the individual. We have a range of programmes, unique to Hatched, based on understanding the challenges of blurring the lines between work, life, media &communications but in reality, what differentiates us is that we are simply good communicators and we are all accountable to being open & honest”

Scully has been with Hatched for 3 years in a planning & strategy role and has a career spanning 20 years across roles in creative, strategy, sales and media, and plays a key part in the senior leadership team.

Hatched clients include Automotive Brands Group (Autobarn, Midas, ABS Group etc), Dairy Australia, Sensis (Yellow Pages & White Pages), Fernwood Fitness, Dennis Family Homes, Strike Bowling, Henley Homes, Village Cinemas, Hairhouse Warehouse, Boost Juice, Capi Sparkling and CBUS Property to name a few.
