Vitasoy appoints Leo Burnett Australia as creative agency of record

Leon Burnett Australia has won the creative account for leading Australian soy milk brand Vitasoy.

Vitasoy, a joint venture between Vitasoy International and Lion Dairy & Drinks in Australia, named Leo Burnett as its creative agency of record after a competitive pitch process.

Leo Burnett will begin work immediately on the new account.

Vitasoy has been producing plant-based milk from grains, nuts and rice for over 80 years, and is part of a growth product category in Australia and around the world.

Vitasoy Australia managing director David Tyack said finding the right agency partner was key to helping the brand achieve its ambitions.

“We have huge ambitions for the Vitasoy brand and want to encourage even more Australians to enjoy the benefits of plant-based milk products. Finding the right agency partner was vital to help us realise our long-term ambitions,” he said.

“Leo Burnett impressed us from the start with their bold strategic thinking and creativity, along with their exceptional collaboration.”

Leo Burnett CEO Melinda Geertz said the Vitasoy brand has an amazing history and the team was inspiring.

“We’re absolutely delighted to partner with Vitasoy. The brand has an amazing history, and David and his team inspired us with their vision and their commitment to building even greater purpose into the brand. We see so much opportunity in this new partnership.”
