Katie Dally and Miles Scott appointed VMLY&R managing partners

The recently merged VMLY&R has announced Katie Dally and Miles Scott as managing partners of the Sydney office, Mumbrella can reveal.

The appointment comes just weeks after the agency secured the creative account for Defence Force Recruiting.

Miles Scott andKatie Dally have become joint managing partners of VMLY&R Sydney

Dally joined Y&R Sydney as general manager in September last year. Sasha Firth departed the agency as MD that same month.

Prior to starting at Y&R Sydney, Dally was head of account management at Ogilvy Australia for five years.

Meanwhile Miles Scott has been promoted from his previous stint as an executive producer at VMLY&R.

Before joining Y&R as a senior digital producer in 2012, Scott was a senior consultant at KPMG.

Dally and Scott will report into joint-CEOs at VMLY&R, Aden Hepburn and Pete Bosilkovski.

In other promotions, Dave Di Veroli has also been promoted to head of strategy and innovation.

Di Veroli was previously a strategy director at VML.

Later last year, the agency also announced Y&R’s Paul Nagy as the merged agency’s new chief creative officer.

“Katie and Miles have proven themselves to be exceptional leaders with complementary skillsets. Their focus will be to nurture and grow our amazing people and to be outstanding partners to our clients, bringing them world class capability.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled for Katie and Miles. They will play a key role as we bring our exciting new offering to market,” the joint-CEOs said in a statement.

WPP merged VML and Y&R in September last year with ambitions to position VMLY&R as a brand experience and brand advertising agency.
