VMLY&R celebrates a year since its merger by giving employees the day off to do volunteer work
VMLY&R celebrated the first anniversary of its merger by closing all 82 global offices on Thursday September 26 and encouraging its 6,500 staff members to take on community volunteer work.
The announcement:
In celebration of its one-year anniversary, VMLY&R will close all 82 offices across the globe on Thursday, Sept. 26, to give more than 6,500 employees the opportunity to
support their local communities through volunteer projects.
And in addition a day off was had by the very many people they retrenched.
Easy for the Sydney office to take a day off – all the clients have left!
