Vodafone – where it really is Christmas every day
Dr Mumbo really has no idea why Vodafone has such a reputation for poor customer service.
Just because they were still wishing customers Merry Christmas in mid January doesn’t mean they don’t know what they’re doing.
It just means that they’re a unique telco.
(Hat-tip: @BeaujUshay)
I left them months ago. Then got hounded by them chasing -$276 dollars. Which I gratefully accepted. Except that they took 3 attempts to refund the credit card they had in the system for me (asked for the number twice).
Then I’ve had to unsubscribe 3 times from their newsletter.
Sad thing is, if they had a network, I’d still be with them. That’s how much I hate Telstra and Optus. Their service is even worse.

Just got rid of them. Had been a loyal customer for around 5 years but received nothing for sticking with them – except my monthly bill which was always paid up. Silly thing is I was in the market for a new phone and plan and if they had called with a great deal I might have taken it … oh well now I’m someone else’s customer.

I’m a Vodafail customer – where’s my giftcard?

This is just some poor dopey admin assistant’s copy, paste and proof-read fail.

Head office are not communicating with each other and proof reading isn’t being carried out well enough. Left arm, doesn’t know what right arm is up to, which subsequently creates a failure. How to fix the mess? STOP ADVERTISING Invest the savings into: FIXING YOUR NETWORK and CREATING AN AMAZING SERVICE (in Oz Aussies want to speak to Aussies) Then: BEGIN WOWING YOUR CUSTOMERS And then? LET YOUR CUSTOMERS DO YOUR MARKETING FOR YOU Simples Do that or: VODAFAIL. (Could I get a consultancy gig at Vodafone? Or have I just given it to them on a plate, all for free?)

You are probably going to give me a big “boo” but i love Vodafone. I have not had all the hassle another people seem to have had. Sure i dont have the best coverage in the country but I dont need it either. I think people have really forgotten how bad some of the other companies can be and how much more they can charge. Its the Australian tall-poppy mentality
