Vogue Australia magazine appoints Christine Centenera as its editor-in-chief

News Corp Australia editorial director and publisher of News Prestige and Conde Nast titles Australia, Edwina McCann has today appointed Christine Centenera as editor-in-chief of Vogue Australia magazine. Reporting to McCann, her first issue will be in March 2023.

Centenera has been with the brand since 2012 and brings to her new role image-making skills, global reputation and contacts. Centenera, currently fashion director of Vogue Australia, will continue to be based between Australia, London, and the US. While travel will remain part of her working life, Centenera said she will be spending more time in Australia.

“I love being in close proximity to the extraordinary photographers and people that we work with on the pages – anywhere in the world,” Centenera said. “Wherever I go people love Australia and I’m proud to be an Australian abroad.
