Voice Kids wins Sunday as Seven focuses on footy in Melbourne and Adelaide

Nine’s second outing of The Voice Kids grew slightly on Sunday night with a metro audience of 1.665m making it the top show of the night. It also topped the key advertising demographic of 25-54.

Meanwhile, Ten’s reality franchise Masterchef also grew slightly on last Sunday with a metro audience of 952,000 placing it fifth for the night.

Seven ran a split schedule, with AFL coverage of Collingwood v Carlton in Melbourne and Adelaide. In Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, Seven aired Anh Does Iceland and A Place To Call Home in prime time. The game was both Melbourne and Adelaide’s fourth most watched show of the night.

Nine’s drama House Husbands once again failed to break 1m but improved on last week, delivering a metro audience of 914,000.

Nine won the night with a metro share of 27 per cent, ahead of Seven’s 21 per cent. Ten rated 13.6 per cent, ahead of ABC1’s 12.2 per cent.

Nine was even more dominant in Sydney with a 33.3 per cent share to Seven’s 17.6 per cent. In Melbourne Nine had a 24.2 per cent share to Seven’s 22.1 per cent.
