We The People adds TikTok producer for mobile-first offering

Communications agency We The People has added photographer and director, Tommy Kuo, as TikTok producer to lead the TikTok strategy and content service.

The new addition is aimed at providing We The People’s client partners with support to build organic and paid campaigns on TikTok via mobile.

Jacob Arnott

Kuo has previously worked as a photographer and content creator for numerous brands such as Mercedes Benz, Herald Sun, Nikon and Red Bull.

We The People managing director, Jacob Arnott said of Kuo’s appointment: “Content on TikTok lives and dies fast, so brands need a partner who can help them keep pace with TikTok’s many sub-cultures.”

According to Arnott a key part of We The People’s TikTok offering is its mobile-first content creation service, which enables clients to have new branded content live on TikTok within a matter of hours.

“The way Aussies of all ages have taken to TikTok has reinforced the need for modern brands to be fast,” said Arnott. “We’ve built this offering to help modern brands be agile and take advantage of the opportunities available on the platform.

“TikTok caught our eye in early 2019, and as part of our philosophy of ‘always asking what’s next’, we invested heavily to better understand the opportunity for Australian brands. Since then, we’ve put our learnings to work launching several organic, paid and influencer campaigns for our client partners.”

We The People’s client partners Chobani and Victoria University have already started utilising the agency’s TikTok service.
