Weather dampens cricket audience for Nine as Seven wins the night

A rainy day in Adelaide hit Nine’s cricket audiences yesterday as Seven again won the night with a 90-minute episode of Home and Away close to hitting the one million mark.

The first session of the second day of the test match with India drew 435,000 metro viewers, down from 518,000, with the second and third sessions watched by 440,000 and 610,000 respectively. Both were down sharply from day one audiences of 637,000 and 843,000 with rain interruptions not helping the broadcaster.
